Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
Anyone who continues to think we are social distancing is clearly one of those idiots who hasn't left their home for 13 months.

Just look at the explosion in the number of covid fines during this last 'lockdown'. People are pretty much ignoring it, apart from a little mask usage here and there. And the fact we've got practically fuck all cases and deaths illustrates how much better shape we are in compared to those fucking morons across the continent.

As an aside my invitation came with government guidance which suggested I don't need the vaccine.

Since first lockdown I've seen no indication of people social distancing, I only have to pop out to see people gathering.

My social media is full of gatherings yet there are hardly any cases now.

According to you with this going on that's not possible, yet it's happened.

As for not getting vaccinated it isn't proven being vaccinated stops the spread. I will probably have it, however if I do I won't think those that haven't are in the wrong.

People carrying on as they see fit, rather than obeying gov guidnace.

Each town only needs a few knob heads like this and there is no hope to seeing the virus off.

Its the same logic as thinking your ok to drive after 5 pints.

A year ago I had a series of five vaccinations. I can still feel the last one from time to time - no pain, just the feeling. Strange.

Good that you’ll be all done with the second one by May, def. hopefully be able to get back on your travels sometime after.

Sven - how are they protecting those people if it doesn't stop transmission?

Hopefully it will prove to do so and then I agree. But it hasn't yet.

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
lab - Also look at SIRVA

My pain is pretty much consistent with this, shoulder injury by the vaccine being injected in the wrong place!

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
lab - Oh really?

Well I have spoken to my doctor and she said some people have had that so nothing to be worried about.
I did however report it to this site.

https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk

My friends daughter works for the gov and has meetings with Chris Whitty etc so has an inside track, she said it's normal as well but report it there.

defjam , yes I had mine six weeks ago and I still get the odd burning sensation . Not sure if I should let someone know or if it’s just normal.

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
chim - Nice one yo!

I had my first one 5 weeks ago yesterday, had the usual symptoms same as some, shivers/fever etc but my left arm where I had it is still sore after 5 weeks, feels like someones punched my shoulder, doesn't bother me much, I'm in pain everyday anyway so another pain isn't a big deal, just the annoyance really especially the first week when my left wrist was very sore but that's cleared up.
But I'll still be having my second one on 1st May!

Sven Roeder 2:36 Sun Mar 28
Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
There are people of all ages who are medically unable to have the vaccine.
Personally I think anyone who is able to take it should even if they imagine THEY would survive a dose of covid even just to protect those people.
The sooner most people are vaccinated (here and abroad) the better.

That said if the end result is that lots of anti-vaxxers, religious looneys & conspiracy theorists croak then its not all been wasted time.

No problem, I'm still undecided personally, I've had loads of vaccines, does that make me an anti vaxxer or just someone who chooses which I think I should have?

I just hope Ritchie isn't still reading he seems a tad tense, I would hate him to have a heart attack and take up a hospital bed.

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
Fraser.... I stand corrected and apologise.
But there may not be any anti vaxxers on this thread but there are on the covid thread.
I’ve met plenty of people who are saying they will not be taking the vaccine for various reasons.

Er no I was replying to Ritchie who said he would take a vaccine
for the common cold if on offer... I'm glad you agree he's a twat..

Vaccine for the common cold is what you mentioned so with all due respect, you’re a twat.

ak37 - have you read thread not a single anti vax conspiracist on here

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
Ritchie - easy to weed out, what those that don't have the same mindset as you.

I'd never judge someone who thinks differently to me.

I have a small group of friends that I've met the same ones, since the first lockdown finished

Nothing has changed none of us have had it since, two of us constantly tested.

They've all had their jabs I haven't, yet

fraser 1:19 Sun Mar 28
Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
I also don't take painkillers often if I can avoid it

May I suggest you don't go to restaurants you could get food poisoning, runover on your way there.

Don't drink you could trip and hurt yourself or just live in a bubble, don't want you taking up a hospital bed

Seriously all this cause I'm undecided

ak37 1:19 Sun Mar 28
Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
Looks like I might be getting The Moderna vaccine next month, I can’t wait.
All you anti vaxxer conspiracists can go fuck yourselves.

Re: I just got my second Astrazeneca jab.
Sorry for mentioning a fact which you think is bollocks.

I think I've already had it, my Mrs was really ill for three weeks March last year we went to a rave with 4000 others the week before lockdown.

I've not stopped seeing people, I've hugged them I've been to small gatherings..

I believe in freedom of choice.

And there you go, so easy to weed out people like you, what a cunt.
